Hi I’m Jo and I am a Virtual Assistant based in Worcestershire, UK providing secretarial support, transcription services, event planning along with social media management aimed at small business owners.
Having worked in London for 10 years at Christie’s Auctioneers, starting as a Customer Service Assistant and working my way up to Specialist Level, I came to the Midlands in 1999 and began my PA career working at partner level in many large corporate firms in Birmingham.
I have worked in many different industries including accountancy, surveying, architecture and law.
For 10 years before I started Hewson Business Support I worked for one of the UK’s top outsourcing legal transcription companies performing transcription services to many law firms in London and across the UK.
Having worked on a freelance/self employed basis for so long, I decided that I would love to follow my dream of having my own business. I researched the type of services that Virtual Assistants offer, and found that many of the skills that I had gained in my life were easily transferred to running a virtual assistance business.
I decided to go for it, and set up Hewson Business Support in March 2018! Things have gone from strength to strength, and I absolutely LOVE helping other small businesses. Life is great!
